Worried about finances? Here are a few of the ways that you can enjoy StrowlerCon without breaking the bank.

Split the Cost!
Through the link on the Strowler site, you can book a room with 2 double beds that’s non smoking for 109$ per night. Get three of your friends that are going to StrowlerCon and each person pays an even split on the room.

$110/4 = $27.5 per person per night
x 2 nights = $60 per person for two nights in the hotel

We know that finances are tight for a lot of our fans out there, and some very worthy strowlers simply cannot afford the cost of a weekend pass, much less a hotel room.   Thus, we have set up a scholarship program for their benefit.  If you need a scholarship ticket, sign up as a candidate here:  http://bit.ly/apzahC

Volunteer!
For those unfamiliar with our Volunteer Rewards:  after working two shifts as a volunteer, you will be rewarded with a refund of half of your registration price. After working three shifts, you will be awarded a full refund.

50% of $45 (current weekend registration)= $22.50 returned to you for working two shifts!

So a person pre-registered for StrowlerCon who’s paying a four way split on a hotel room and volunteers for at least nine hours at the convention will only pay $82.50.

$60 (two nights in a hotel room, split four ways) + $22.50 (weekend pass after partial refund)= $82.50

3 days, 2 nights, 2 shifts = $82.50 per person

A person volunteering at least fourteen hours (only three shifts) in the above situation would only pay $60!

3 days, 2 nights, 3 shifts = $60.00 per person for the entire weekend

It is the hotel’s right and decision to change the prices of their rooms and for the services they offer. Please note that all US taxes still apply and that the numbers shown in this document are based on current prices, are for illustration only, and do not represent the final amount that you may have to pay. You are responsible for taxes and fees. StrowlerCon also has no control over the availability of rooms at the hotel. By volunteering for two shifts you must abide by the rules set by your Coordinator. Read the benefits and responsibilities of Volunteering at StrowlerCon carefully. Please note that your refund will be given to you after you have completed two shifts to the satisfaction of your Coordinator.

If it cannot be given to you immediately on site, StrowlerCon will negotiate with you a fair means and time to refund the money you are owed for time volunteered.
